Launching the corporate offer at Alias Philanthropy
Late 2020 I initiated a new discussion platform based on the professional networks and learnings from my practice in international development, gender, public health and philanthropy. From this initiative and a number of consultancies, Alias Philanthropy was created as an independent consultancy firm in France, based on a large network of experts in these fields. As Principal Advisor and CEO I manage advisory, educational and technical assistance missions for foundations, sustainability professionals in public and private organisations, individual donors and other philanthropy networks. Each contribution is co-constructed with support from experts in a wide array of domains including social and behavioral sciences, fundraising and grant-making, social impact design and measurement, diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI), sustainable finance, humanitarian affairs among others.
We are strong believers in participatory and collective intelligence. Our aim is to extend this practice with the global network of gender and philanthropy professionals from all over the world, who inspired me and collaborated with my organisations in the past. In particular I draw on the international network of social purpose organisations (SPOs) and women’s funds, multilateral institutions and local experts have been longstanding and high value partners. They operate in the fields of women’s health and well being, economic empowerment, protection against all forms of violence, children and youth participation, social economy and humanitarian affairs.
Alias Philanthropy upholds the ambition to make a difference with timely and tailored options, adapting the expertise to our client’s specific goals. We forge partnerships and create social value in a context-sensitive and agile way, adding value to great intentions. Intended to be your sparring partner in the design and implementation phases for your philanthropic or sustainability journey, we value a creative and open-minded approach. By distance or in person, we support the emergence of influence platforms, structure programmes and leverage resources and people capacity. We will for instance provide open source curriculum for Social and solidarity economy training, publish reviews of sector-wide books, resources and articles to advance the agenda of Generation Equality Forum and 2030 Agenda. Most importantly we wish to continue to connect changemakers and women’s rights advocates to leaders and funders from around the world to pursue the movement for a more equal future.
